Are you feeling fat because you ate too much for Turkey Day, are the in-laws/family driving you nuts, have you been slacking since loop group ended or just need a reason to hang out with fellow bikes? Well join us at the 2nd annual SABA Black Friday group road/MTB ride.

Where: San Angelo State Park, South Shore Large Pavilion
Date: Black Friday Nov 28

SABA will provide hot dogs for after the ride.

I'll be in San Angelo next week visiting my in-laws. Will there be a group doing a mtb ride and one doing a road ride? I haven't ridden the State Park trails before. I'd love to get a ride in with someone who has been on them before.

The MTB Ride will be approx 22 miles long; no rider left behind.

The road ride will be up to the group, but will be at least 40 miles long( Click Here For Route ) or we can ride out to Water Valley once turning onto 87 and add on another 15 to 20 miles.

Looks like it might not be an issue, looks like we are in store for some rain.

Everyone please keep an eye on the weather and please spread the word about this ride.

I'm thinking on bringing the road bike, but . . . Two questions - What is the pace and is the gravel pit open Friday?

The pace will depend on how many show up to road ride. Unknown if the pit will be open or not; but I ride Burma 2 to 3 times a week and the trucks haven't been an issue for me.

Thanks SABA for making me feel welcome in on the Black Friday mountain bike ride. I very much enjoyed the trails and the company. Please feel free to give me a shout if any of you are ever in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and need some trail guidance.
