A cyclist that I know in Del Rio sent me the following email. If anyone has a route suggestion for him , his email address is dex@stx.rr.com. I've already sent him the Jamison Road loop and the old loop group 20-mile route.

"I am interested in locating a loop route of probably less than 20 miles that I can do for 24hours. Preferably one with little or no traffic and of course safety is utmost. I have done the Texas Time Trials in Cleburne the past 2 years. That loop is okay but is surely not the safest in the world. Especially for a solo rider.

My objective is to have a safe loop that I can travel to and do 24 hour training events maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Preferably a loop where I can set up my own roadside aid station. Do you know of any locations that might be suitable?
We have no loops around Del Rio.

Do you know of anyone else I might be able to ask? Any input at all will be appreciated".

Thanks,
Dex
